Patient Education

Sandy is the voice that greets you to our office and takes care of all of your scheduling, insurance, and billing needs. Sandy began her career in dentistry with Dr. Steve Bates. She spent her first 12 years in dentistry working with him before he sold his dental practice. She credits her vision of exemplary dental care; treating patients with utmost care and integrity, as a lesson that she has carried with her from her experiences with Dr. Steve. She is pleased to note that Dr. Brady Bates shares those same values and is excited to be back working with the Bates Family at Bates Dental PS! When not at the office, Sandy and her husband Leonard, like to spend time riding their motorcycles, playing with their little dog Tucker, and spoiling their grandchildren.

Brandi brings 20 years of dental assisting experience to our office, which we are finding invaluable. She grew up in Yosemite, where she spent her time hiking, fishing and camping with her family. In 2006 she and her family relocated to the Northwest and have found it very similar for outdoor activities. She especially loves to share with her granddaughter her love of the outdoors. Brandi brings to the team a very calm, caring, and compassionate demeanor which our patients find very comforting.

Morgan grew up in New Mexico and moved to Tri-Cities WA her senior year of high school, where she met her husband, Kyle. Morgan attended Eastern Washington University, where she received her Bachelor of Science in Dental Hygiene with honors. Her favorite thing about being a dental hygienist is helping people change their perspective of dentistry. When Morgan isn’t working she is either teaching part time at the hygiene school or working in her yard. Morgan enjoys spending time with her husband and two crazy pups Agnes and Sadie. As a crew they enjoy being outside exploring the great inland NW or visiting the local wineries.

Christine has been a hygienist for 10 years and graduated from Clark College with her A.A in dental hygiene. She has lived in the NW most her life and loves it. In the summer she enjoys going up to their lake place on Bead Lake and floating on the water. During the winter she enjoys snowshoeing. She loves spending time with family and her husband. If you really want to make her smile bring her a batch of brownies.

Marissa has been a wonderful addition to our team and really likes getting to know her patients. She loves a good laugh and wants to make you smile. Marissa also has a passion for art which translates well into dentistry. When she is not working, she is either in her studio blowing glass or taking her dogs on an adventure.
